Society for Human Resource Management-Senior Certified Professional designation earned by two University at Buffalo Campus Dining Shops employees
Campus Dining and Shops (CDS) at the University at Buffalo (UB) is pleased to announce that two employees in their Human Resources department have earned the designation of Senior Certified Professional by the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM).
Kristen Fleischauer, Benefits Administrator for five years, and Jillian Hackemer Murdoch, HR Coordinator for three years, each passed the four-hour, 160 question examination to earn their SCP certification.
“I am very proud of both of them, especially during this pandemic,” said Lauren Brantley, director of human resources for CDS. “This year’s exam was extremely difficult with passing rate of only 54%. They both worked very hard and our entire team is very happy for them.”
SHRM certification is the only HR certification offered by the world’s largest HR membership organization. As the industry leader in HR professional development, SHRM has supported more than 100,000 employers representing 140 million employees worldwide.
