Member Benefits

Membership in SASA Has Its Advantages

SASA is only as successful as the sum of its parts. Therefore, several different membership opportunities are available.

Campus Membership:

  • Unlimited individual memberships for active employees
  • Invitations to SASA events and Annual Meeting
  • Inclusion in SASA News and other communications
  • Exclusive access to shared resources and tools through the SASA Intranet
  • Meet, strengthen ties with, and learn from colleagues through exclusive networking opportunities
  • Opportunities to meet and learn about SASA corporate partners & services to benefit your auxiliary or industry
  • Opportunities for professional and personal growth through SASA resources and support
“I was looking for a place to meet other professionals in my field and share ideas but I got much more than that. Our group has formed a bond and we all share a common task of supporting auxiliary services in a college environment. We meet on a regular basis, virtually, for general discussion or to tackle common problems present at the time. It makes me feel like my team has exponentially grown in size. Some of the specific benefits we’ve enjoyed from our partnerships built through SASA include being able to get insights into products before we purchase from other schools that are current users, brainstorming to solve common issues, even saving money on equipment as some schools replace systems others are still using. Recently we were able to pick up thousands of dollars worth of POS equipment for free that we made immediate use of.”

Corporate Membership:

Corporate partners, big and small, play a pivotal role in the development, continuation, and success of SASA, and support individual campus auxiliary programs across New York State.

  • Elevate brand awareness & exposure to hundreds of members representing a variety of industries through advertising, demonstrations, and vendor space at SASA events
  • Meet and strengthen ties with auxiliary key decision makers through exclusive networking opportunities
  • Stay in-tune to hot topics and needed services in our industries

Individual Membership

Individual membership is designed for auxiliary professionals who are no longer a member of a specific SUNY auxiliary, but believe in and want to support SASA and its mission. This membership level is ideal for retirees, government officials, etc. Benefits include:

  • Invitations to SASA events and Annual Meeting
  • Inclusion in SASA News and other communications
  • Exclusive access to shared resources and tools through the SASA Intranet
  • Networking, career and educational opportunities

Annual dues are determined on a sliding scale depending on the budget of the member auxiliary, typically ranging from $150 to $350 per year.
